I am currently a La Caixa Junior Leader at the Donostia International Physics Center. I have extensive experience designing coordination compounds in a way to fully exploit their unique properties such as geometry, reactivity (or inertness) in the field of Bioinorganic / Medicinal Inorganic Chemistry and Chemical Biology.
I have wide experience in gold chemistry. Most recently, my group has been interested in the development of cyclometallated gold(III) compounds that can be used to chemically modify protein under biocompatible conditions
